NWSMU presentations at III International Conference ‘Interaction in Pedagogy’ (Saratov, Russia)

On March 25, 2021 North-Western State Medical university named after I.I. Mechnikov (NWSMU) project team took part in III International Conference ‘Interaction in Pedagogy’ (Saratov, Russia). The aim of the Conference was to exchange ideas and experience on relevant teaching issues and to disseminate research outcomes. 

Saint Petersburg team leader, Nataliya Koroleva, was a presenter in Plenary meeting. Her report “Communication competence enhancement in medical students: NWSMU needs analysis” was based on the data obtained while preparing FOR21 grant proposal and included the first results of project needs analysis.

Anna Vozdvizhenskaya, NWSMU team teacher, presented a report on comparative analysis of current communication programs in FOR21 PCUs. In this report Russian, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan universities were compared in terms of teaching basic and advanced communication skills to medical students. 

The reports got positive feedback from conference organizers and participants. NWSMU team was invited for further cooperation. Conference proceedings will be published in autumn 2021.
