PCUs staff training within the framework of the FOR21 project

A successfully organized training workshop titled “Methodology and Tools for Developing Patient-Centered Communication Skills (Virtual Patient, Standardized Patient)”, has taken place on 15-18 June 2021. The training is related to WP1 and its goal was to train academic staff of the Partner Countries Universities (PCUs) in the methodology for developing patient-centered communication skills (virtual patient, standardized patient) and the assessment of learning outcomes. 

During the first day of training a workshop including the following topics was attended by all the PCUs representatives totalling 35 academic staff (teachers and technicians).

The rest of the days included separately dedicated hands-on sessions for each PCUs’ academic staff for developing a Virtual Patient clinical case in the OpenLabyrinth platform. 

The training is to be concluded on June 25 with a general meeting where all PCUs will present developed clinical scenarios. It is expected that all the consortium members will provide their feedback. 

All the meetings were organized virtually through WebEx application.
